Driver and Customer Service in Hutchinson, KS
Its a job that can work at locally. It is fairly lax, but a lot of rules and training as is necessary as one would work around a lot dangerous machinery, chemicals and equipment.
Assistant Store Manager in Saginaw, MI
I worked my way from part time closer to assistant manager in about a year. While at first I was motivated that quickly faded as I felt I was ran into the ground for a peanuts. Culture and moral depends on your store manager and district manager, too bad there's a lot of terrible people in management. I also way grossly under paid for my position ($10.50) and performance and they justified with "they'll give me more when I prove I can do the position" even though my numbers were some of the best in the country to begin with it.
Customer Service Representative in Trinidad, CO
The only thing I wish is I could have started working for O'Reilly sooner it's a cool job deal with all kinds of people I have all kinds of cool things to sell that help people and that's what I provide customer service and helping people but to anyone that is looking for a career I highly advise to try to get in with O'Reilly couldn't really ask for anything better
Night Manager/Cashier in Huntsville, AL
I've worked at two separate O'Reillys over the course of about a year (I was transferred to open up a new location)The initial location was a fantastic job if a little bit underpayed. But it was never boring, and even the bad days could still turn out decent given I had a decent crew. But the second I moved stores things started falling apart at the seams. Management became absolutely worthless, coworkers went from helpful to willing to blame you for their mistakes, and in general chaos was unleashed. If you have a crew you know about that works well, I highly encourage you to join! It's fun, and obviously if you enjoy cars it's got fantastic discounts and a wealth of knowledge to be learned (plus you can earn your ASC cert. From two years working there)Part time is always fairly flexible assuming your manager is good, and while customers run the gamete from the dregs of society to your best buddy, it'll never be boring.
Parts Sales and Delivery in Oak Ridge, TN
The job is easy. The pay is pathetic, the benefits are expensive and not comprehensive. Now they force an IRA deduction on you. Stores and parking need attention. Most employees work there because it's easy to sit around and just talk to customers all day. Expecting others to work.
