They don't mention that orientation or any schooling is done at minimum wage. It isn't till you get your pay check that they inform you that is company policy. Every paycheck has a mistake. I spend my breaks and after hours on the phone calling the office. When they answer the phone they make it seem like they are not at fault for making mistakes. While other sub contractors with NSC also have other payroll issues.
Ship yard isnt a bad place to work.
Just not with NSC
I never worked here but I had an interview and I was told I would hear back within the following week so I waited and waited and never heard anything back. I decided to text the branch manager about the position and she read my message and didn’t reply. The next day I got on indeed and the position was posted and I was “invited to apply.” It seemed like it would a great company to work for and I was really excited for the opportunity. Seems to have a very bad lack of communication and doesn’t seem to take candidates very well at all.

I was supposed to start a job as a electrician helper but when I finally gotten the offer I was demanded to come in halfway through the shift the same day, and when I refused the position because I had an at home emergency, my recruiter began to harass my cell phone and texting me disrespectful and rude things. I would be careful coming here for a job
The reel you in and spit you out, The whole marine division is corrupt. They lie about compensation. The job postings are misleading. I would recommend any other staffing company besides NSC. I've heard horror stories about certain managers in VP and executive roles. Stay clear of this agency,
awful leadership in marine division
Hiring Recruiter defamed my name and openly admitted to doing it. I confronted HR and of course they will protect there own, conflict was not resolved. Said word for word that there recruiter never said what they said to defame my name of course, when both the pipe shop and other supervisors said that she did. Don’t work for this company, they will stab you in the back and throw you out to the wolves
Will protect there own
