Overall mobilelink is a good company to work for if you don’t have a lot of bills. This job is majority for high school teenagers. You have to meet certain goals in order to get paid which is expected since this is a commission job also. The thing that got me is for part time you have to sell 14 phones to get all your commission or 22 phones if you are full time. You have to sell 14 or 22 phones to gain all of your commission. I worked for a major phone company before this job and anything that you did sell you got commission on, even though you did not make your goal for the month.

Look somewhere else. Horrible company. They try to figure out new ways daily to beat you out of commission. The back office is horrible and will not help you at all. You constantly have to send emails to get anything done.

My experience working for Mobilelink has been one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. It's overall the best place to work at everyone is friendly, management really helps to work around your lifestyle schedule. Our environment is overall inviting to our customers to help them out with everyone's needs.

This has to be the worst company I have ever worked for. Unrealistic goals, hostile environment, no advancement for managers, very unprofessional corporate support. They will charge you $25 if you do not set up your direct deposit, per check, even if it is pre-noting. The regional managers are a joke.

In the beginning, when I started to work at Cricket, everything was fine I was making my goals and felt fine till they open a new store, which was horrible. The new store is almost 2 mins away from the same store I was working at, its a slow place with high expectations. Everyday was so dreadful from just standing around, at points I just wanted to walk out and never come back to that store but for obvious reasons I couldn’t. They would blame us for having low sells when literally no one came in that particular store. I was so fed up, I was taking so much for literally nothing. I hated every second being there. Would definitely not recommend anyone to work here, they will stress you out for their own problems and especially that they are extremely short staffed at this time.

Just do yourself a favor and run the other direction, even if you’re desperate for a job, this isn’t the place you want to be. Save yourself and keep looking for a job, this company doesn’t care about their employees at all. They say there’s growth opportunities, but that’s because there’s so much turn over. The company is destroying itself and I assure you it’s not something anybody in their sound and sober mind would want to be apart of. There’s plenty of other opportunities that are worth pursuing than Mobilelink.

I have only been with company for a year. I am looking forward to my advancement in the company. It is a fun place to work, very casual, you meet a diverse group of people. The pay is above minimum wage and you have a flexible schedule. Where else can you work, get paid to have fun!

This is a good job to get experience from but not to grow in, you are very limited in what you can achieve. They pick and choose who becomes the next manager etc. Even when you go above and beyond they have those roles filled because they either know them or are related to someone they know. Not fair at all! Plus the pay is way below average!

Good work environment and opportunity to acquire skills, however no opportunities to grow in my department. My manager was great and was one of the reasons I liked coming to work. Would have stayed longer if I was compensated fairly.

I’ve only been with Mobilelink for a month and a half, and I’m ready to walk out, at any given moment. The management is unbelievably terrible. I’m constantly getting calls on my days off, for things I either “did wrong”, or that they need me to come in. I can’t have a comfortable day off without getting a single call. EVEN on Thanksgiving! I was called and educated on what we NEED to do on Black Friday. Which is nothing different from the promotions we had started the week prior. My most recent paycheck was trash. You have to use ADP, on your personal phone, to clock in and out. The thing is, ADP sucks... Sometimes the app does not register your clock in/out. Long story short, the app didn’t register my clock outs for a couple of days throughout the pay period. So, I asked for a time correction, and they threatened me with a write up. Like it was my fault? My hours were never corrected, therefore I was not paid for those days. Whatever you do, move on. Do not apply for this job. This company needs a complete overhaul, or to be shut down entirely. I only applied to this job because I lost my last one (the best job I ever had) due to COVID-19. You are better than this place. Apply elsewhere.

Terrible micromanagement, don’t take care of their employees. Pay issues weekly, chasing down employees paychecks. Not appreciative of their employees or the hard work , always requesting more and being extremely demeaning of employees. Pays no attention to your off time , always expecting and demanding your timeBack office of any sort , doesn’t get back to you for days. Issues stay unresolved for months. You’re pressured to hire someone with a date deadline so you hire a warm body just to appease their needs. Owners visit and show no gratitude to our work in the field , especially when working all through this pandemic. No one has shown appreciation to us working during these scary times.

Overall, it's telecom retail sales. The work is rewarding and never over-demanding. If you truly don't mind asking simple sales questions, you will do well. If you are shy and view sales as "pushing people to buy what they don't need", 1. You have no place in Sales. 2. Don't apply. The commission is legit and the quotas are easy to make if you just talk to your customers. LOTS of downtime on the sales floor many days, but always side work to keep you busy. LOTS of room for advancement for those that shine. It is easy to shine among your fellow coworkers as most are only there for an "easy" job. Pro tip: It's super easy to go above and beyond here. Do it. Learn the biz. Get promoted. Rinse. Repeat. You WILL deal with back office communication barriers, but they mean well at the end of the day.
