Working as communications tech is good. Fun days with plenty of work. Sadly now, you are a robot and cannot have any thoughts that are against the company. Upper management make you feel disposable and moral is at an all time low. Most people you work under have never been in your position, or, if they have, are completely out of touch with reality. Your name is your tech number and you are here to serve. Wages are all over the place. Never get home on time at weekends. Wouldn't recommend the job anymore. Loved it two years ago.
benefits, time off
No soul left within the company, wages do not move with living wages, management sucks. Too many hands involved.
Communication with leader is no transparent, promotes unqualified people above ones that are qualified. Supervisors are all (obsolete) still in the analog age and we are now in the digital world. They can’t explain anything to you about new products, and how they interface with your system.
Free Comcast services.
The pay, promotions
Worked at Comcast in the field. There’s a reason so many customers complain about this company all you have to do is look at the “leadership” in any department I dealt with. Joke of a company in the end.
Some of the coworkers
I'm going to be honest here. Being a CommTech in Comcast has its ups and downs but I still feel that this job is the best job I've ever had. You're mostly out on your own but you also have to meet metrics which can be difficult. You have to adapt to change which isn't hard. But if you've been with the company long enough, you will develop fatigue. Still, youre in outside environment, meet different people, and benefits are great!

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
The company makes constant decisions to what feels like intentionally irritate their customer base which will then be your job to explain away. The business model is unethical and you will be working for a fundamentally unethical company. They say that they are but after observing their business and working with their customers for 5 years I assure you - you and the customers are only collections of numbers to make a bottom line. The Benefits are great but they don't really outweigh the nonsense you'll have to deal with.
stop the micromanaging, show more trust in employees, extremely stressful every day due to a scorecard with 5 behaviors, ridiculous coupled with too much work without support. company culture is one of favorites:( not a happy workforce , need new business model and new MGM:/
Comcast was an amazing place to work but advancement opportunities were very poor and there process for advancement very poor which made me exit the company for that very reason. Basic internal positions were easy but to go for management the follow through in that process was very poor. I miss the company and coworkers but they couldn’t fix basic issues when it came to advancement. There very good at listening I can say that.
Amazing culture great management.
Breaks Short, Advancement to management and above very poor follow through Pay is poor
High school popularity environment!!! Business as usual no matter what happens! Meeting metrics matters most. Customer service is not top priority as they market on commercials. Maximize customers gain revenue even when customers are unhappy. Customer Surveys account for commissionable revenue regardless if customer survey directed at reporting representatives. A bad survey about the company but positive remarks for you individually will still result in overall negative customer experience.
Benefits, pay, courtesy services, Universal studios
Favoritism, no work life balance, good luck being promoted who you know or who you blow vibe!!!
Don't waste your time this place is not a career don't be fooled it's an underpaid job for what you do as a cable tech plus the pay is biweekly witch chump change Harrisburg office needs help, not even the Union or manager can help this place needs major attention overall.
they don't care about you
It’s the type of place where you only get ahead if the right people like you. It doesn’t matter how good or bad you perform, as long as the right person likes you, you have job security.
Metrics not fairly assessed and delegated unfairly
The pay is the only thing that would make anyone stay by the fact especially in sales you have to really brain wrestle to make money and pretty much sell yourself soul is the only way you will make decent money
Reduced courtesy services
