AT&T now, but a great company. They cared about the end user and made certain service was working and dependable. Management and techs worked as a team to insure this. Upper level was good and cared about all aspects of the company, which was the customer.

generally high turn over in team and in management leading to poor workplace culture and poor decision making. Tendency is for folks to attempt to hide mistakes and poor performance then dare anyone to say anything

The OKC location is your typical call center environment. Reminded me of high school with all of the drama and ghetto activity. They do try to keep a fun culture. Aside from that, AT&T as a company has great benefits and they try their best to adequately train you before throwing you to the floor. Of course, like most places, a lot of the learning is done in action. Customers are going to be super upset with you, though, but with the prices, I’d be mad at spotty coverage too.

Upper management has unrealistic expectations, they close down stores frequently, constant micromanagement, pay is okay but the job will drain the life out of you.

Live mobile is a decent company to work for. It can be beneficial in terms of pay. But upper management could not be bothered with what their employees are dealing with or what they are doing just to keep the store open

I wouldn’t refer this company to my worst enemy, they have both zero respect for their employees in general and even less for those who are military veterans and may be suffering a mental health crisis.

I was brought to this position due to AT&T stores being shut down, there was 1000s people in the same boat as me. AT&T provided equipment to allow us to work from home and we were virtually trained as well. The training was 8 weeks of training crammed into 12 days, 95% of the work from home agents didn't know anything really, managers and assistant managers included. job became very stressful due to the lack of training and our managers unwilling( or didn't know how) to help us with issues, but still expected us to offer new phone lines and DirecTV packages. I literally had a customer who needed to cancel lines due to a death in the family and was in tears, and my manager still grilled me for not offering products or services. pay was really good tho.

Good Pay, but absolutly toxic place to work. You akways have to watch your back, even if you're a good sales person. If you have a bad maanager who hates you, you will getr fired eventually

Learned a lot from working at the company, especially as it transitioned to become an entertainment company. Like most large organizations, there are always complex problems that require patience and strategic thinking. A typical day is very busy no matter what department you're in. If you're lucky, you'll land somewhere with a great manager and director. Great leadership can make or break your experience at AT&T. It's very easy to get lost in the bright lights and great pay that come from working for a large telco brand. It's important to know that bad leaders are everywhere. The company has grown much more flexible over the years, but work-life balance was one of my major issues. There are many unspoken rules that isolate great employees - "don't leave the office before your leader does," "don't speak in meetings unless spoken to," don't challenge your leaders, etc. Get in, get what you need, and get out.

Environment very cliqued up. No sick leave for a year during a pandemic. They base your life off a point system. After 3 points (2.5 days) you’re being written up even after submitting the necessary medical forms (15 page packet the give to you). Maybe any position but the call center.

Overall decent place to work if u can rise above the entitled rude customers, excessive micro management, and the constant change in company policy on what you should or shouldn’t do on a call.Takes a LONG time to get a decent shift. Been here two years and still not happy with our most recent bid based on seniority. The recent switch to sales is a positive to me because I am good at sales, but I understand some may be turned off as this was not in our job description when we interviewed.PTO is decent when its available, for some reason at beggining of year they make it very hard to use it. Example: Sunday morning all of the PTO time is magically unavailble to use for the week. Even when there was a lot of availability on saturday night.Your only as good as your numbers, you could be your managers favorite one month then the next talked down to like an inferior being based on a negative customer service survey.

expect a lot but in management there is plenty of opportunity for growth. Department support in some projects is lacking due to do more with less mindset. Overall good company to work for. Medical benefits could and should be better financed given the resources of company. In this company there is ample opportunity for professional growth.

Unless you do things the unethical way and blow your sales goals, you will not be able to move up the management ladder. They act like the culture is all inclusive, but if you are not a top seller they do not include you in anything

Worked for this company for Almost 6 years now, it's not a bad place to work just sometimes Stressful. They have great ideal on safety and are union based. They pay employees well and have ok benefits that are sometimes hard to navigate. My area is undergoing some changes and has had some issues but I understand the bottom line. I'm not going to bash them or praise them. My Experience here was just that and Just because I felt the need to move on does not mean someone else will agree with me on that notion.

Union shop. Excellent benefits including tuition assistance, you're able to apply for jobs outside the warehouse via intranet, EEO and HR are available, raise every year. Everyone is paid the same no matter the job. For me to reach top pay was 2 years. People may come in at a different rate per hour but in the end everyone's the same. There is a written exam, drug test and physical - you have to lift up to 75 lbs. I rarely lift that and ppl are willing to help you and help you learn the job.

M-F w/10% diff. when scheduled passed 8pm, breakrooms w/flat screen, Dtv, generouse time off, superb pay, generouse discount, job rotation every 2wks.
Cons
Environment not controlled, bid on depts every 6 months, no overtime, surplus (layoffs), will relocate with ATT paid.

The money is the only reason the turnover is so low. The politics, even at the store level are toxic. Everyone doesn't do anything but complain about each other and the manager makes a point to do the bare minimum.

I started at age 16 and worked 46 years. Great Company to work for. Never missed a pay check great benefits as well as vacation. They took care of my family and I for 46 years, Two thumbs up!
